We came up with the idea of launching FrontPeers when we noticed a lack of tailor-made solutions in need by certain groups of people and organizations around us.

We believe in the fair use of services and in making them available to everyone.
We use open-source software whenever possible. We fully support developers and you can make donations directly to them if you like their features.

We provide services and solutions which are a touch different. We believe that ..
- A high-quality, complete, basic package of service should be available for everyone;
- The basic package should be free to use, with optional non-disrupting upgrades;
- All content should belong to the user and not the service provider;
- A user should be able to switch, or start from scratch, and move on;
- There should be no need to repeat any action such as uploads.
This means that a basic package should be obtainable by a maximum of people and that content should remain under the users’ control and ownership.
It can be very frustrating when you move to a new service provider and you have to start from scratch. Wouldn’t it be nice to retrieve your existing content and just transfer it? We support third-party hosts so you won’t have to restart uploading all your stuff.
