Continuing our efforts to block unwanted bots and prevent spam, we have added further clean-up methods, which also remove related data from site usage statistics.

All accounts are affected as follow:

• Existing numbers like hits may be reduced;
• Less new hits in the future;
• More data referring to account content like post or page address.

In simple words: removing statistics of unwanted bots reduces the account’s hit counter. Furthermore, blocking such hit counts in the future means (mostly) only real visitors are counted, with displayed details such as what pages were opened (thus more content-related details).
